On Sunday I was a vendor at my first Frome independent market, I was lucky to get a cancelled pitch last minute.
Living in Frome I frequently visit the market and was so excited to be accepted to bring my products, I hadn't done a market stall in about 4 years (apart from online markets during lockdown) and to finally get to do a busy thriving market was so much fun.
My stand was opposite the Pilea plant shop right at the top of Catherine hill. It was the perfect pitch, the ladies in Pilea are super lovely & offered me hot drinks and let me store my boxes in the back room. Looking at the shop all day with all the beautiful foliage was a treat!
It was wonderful to meet lots of people and chat to customers who were so nice about my items, I was so pleased with how the market went.
I wish I had gotten time to meet more of the crafters/makers on stalls down the hill, I will make sure to support as many as I can for the December market, whether I am a trader or just a Christmas shopper.
Thanks again to all at the Frome Independent Market who gave me the cancelled pitch, it really meant a lot to me to get accepted and to have a brilliant first market.
The Christmas market will be on the first Sunday in December!
